Keepin' it Real
INTRO:My name is Brooke Erin Fordice. I am an oiler and proud of it! I wanted to start this blog at the beginning of my journey with Young Living. I was introduced to Young Living's essential oils through a friend and I'm super glad I was. Let me skip back a few beats before I tell you about the company. I'm a teacher, a 2nd grade teacher who puts my heart-and-soul into teaching. I am married to another 2nd grade teacher who also puts his heart into it every moment he has. We are nurturers, care givers, love our children we teach and wish to help people (even dogs- that's another story) any chance we get. Before going to graduate school for my masters in Elementary Education, I received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice to help young adults who were entering the Justice system. I realized I wanted to continue to help children, so I went back to school. Point is: I wanted to just help people and make a difference in this world. I wanted to help like my teachers helped me. I work in the inner city of Chicago on the south side. It's not an easy drive and I see a lot of things and my students experience many unfortunate events in which children should never should have to. So here is me helping people. Here is my husband, Jeff, helping others. I want more! People are struggling everyday, everywhere. People are suffering from so many different illnesses and diseases and I want to share Young Living's oils with them. They are legit and will work for you with consistent use and if your educated on how to use them. I am here to help you. I wouldn't try to sell you something that doesn't work, because I don't want it done to me and it's crappy. As you can see, I'm not that person who would do something crappy like that. I want to pay it forward. My friend introduced me to these amazing oils and now I want to share and pay that generosity forward. They are pretty amazing. This may not be the option you would initially choose, but it's an option and these days not many things really work the way we wish them to without icky side effects. So, I'm sharing an option without side effects. Read the rest of my post and see what you think for yourself.
Young Living is a multi-level marketing company. I've always been anti-marketing every time I see the work...ick, but I don't feel that way about Young Living. The business people I've experienced who work with Young Living don't chase you all over the planet to get your business. We don't have to. The oils sell themselves, because they do work. They work so well that even I signed up to begin distributing oils. WHAT? I always said that I'd never sell a thing. I don't like sales people, they frankly annoy the heck out of me. I walk right past them in the mall and on the street. I try to avoid eye contact at all costs. So, this is why the Lemon Droppers are around. Lemon Droppers don't hound, we don't believe in that. We believe in the product and yes folks... we actually use the products religiously. So much in fact that we can post on social media with actual testimonies and results. We have real evidence. We want to help others just like we were helped by someone else.
So, if your still with me... I'll tell you what....That's why it took me 6 months to take a plunge to try the oils in the first place. I read a post every single day from my friend on Facebook bragging about these oils. I thought she was crazy and then one day finally I said "What the heck... I'm gonna do it!" So I did with the assurance of my husband of course...lol....Yeah! After about a week of using the oils, I'm telling you...They freakin' work! They are rock star oils, I mean they are wonderous. The starter kit that I purchased is extremely versatile. It can be used for so many different things. The oils help with sleeplessness, aches and pains, sore throats, fevers, health and wellness and basically anything else you could imagine. They are all natural, they are not filler oils, you can actually go to the Young Living farm and see the Seed to Seal process. It's real! So- I'm a user of the oils, I'm smitten! I am flat out addicted to them. I haven't used not one OTC med since I received the kit (it's only been 1 week, but I'm used to taking Advil 1 time a day consistently and of course my allergy meds. Don't remind me lol)
So, yes I used the oils and there are many people that do (countless actually), but now I distribute the oils and kits. I couldn't be happier. You can make a ton of money doing it. I'm obviously not at that point yet. lol....but will be one day soon. That's my goal! It will be hard work, but it can be done and I'm darn glad to be doing it for a company whose product is THE BOMB DIGGITY! I'm super pumped!
